Junk Customization

‘Customization’ and ‘Configuration’ are two fashionable and stylish words in ERP lingo. Every product is customized and configured to suit your company.

In ERP products, the product is not ‘Customized’ or ‘Configured’ – your business processes are changed to suit the requirements of ERP product. If the ERP product dictates that you should have four different stores in the company ( while you have only one ), then you must make additional three stores in your company ( even though they are on paper ).

There are ERP installations with over 40 store locations within a factory – no one understands them. These are not physically present but these are needed to move a material from one department / place to another. Because that’s how ERP functions.

We, at ERP service, junk these ‘Customization’ process. We believe in ‘Co-operation’.

We study you business process and then suggest / implement the software accordingly. If your product currently has only four features, we will not insist that you should have the form that requires twenty different fields. In ERP service, two customers, both entering purchase orders, may have absolutely different layouts for data acceptance and different prints.

No two implementations at ERP service are same. Every customer is unique and so are his working methodologies.
